lễ vọng phục sinhSaturday of the Holy Week is a day celebrating the event of Christ resurrection – the Easter Advent mass, at the same time it reminds we are resurrected with Him in the final day. Thus together with the Church, Tan Quy Parish has organized the Paschal Vigil mass at 20h00 on April 19th 2014 with the attendance of more than 1,000 parishioners.

The mass is officiated by the Assistant Father Dominic and started by the rites celebrating the Christ’s Resurrection, through the sanctification of Easter candles and the focus is the proclamation of Easter Gospel (Exsultet song). Next is the Word Liturgy: “re-meditating in the Old Testament age how the Christ has salved His people and in today’s age He resends His Unique Son to come and salve us.” After ending the prayers, the Choir has three times said  solemnly Alleluia, each time stronger and the community has repeated it by three times.

The third part is the Baptismal Liturgy: “the Community has repeated the promise when receiving the Baptismal Sacrament”. And the fourth part is the Eucharistic Liturgy: “the Christ people is invited to the Holy Party being prepared by the Christ to His people through death and resurrection”.

After the announcement of Easter Gospel, the Father shares

Jesus Christ has salved the humankind through His death and His resurrection is a real salvation. Living a resurrection joy is living in a positive, merry behavior since the Christ is resurrected. We are happy since we will resurrect in the final day.

We should always live in affection, help everybody with a merry spirit so that surrounding people also see the Christ is living in us.

Ending his share, the Father sends his Easter congratulations to all parishioners attending the mass to always be filled with the Christ’s joy, to follow and see Him Resurrect in the road we have selected.
